Fully Customized to Your Goals, Your Workflow, Your People

What sets Workflow Creative apart is the fact that every engagement is fully customized to you, to your specific goals for the engagement, to your workflow and projects, and to your personnel and their learning style. We simply do not offer canned training, which, unfortunately, is how the rest of the industry operates.

We begin every training class or consulting engagement with the following questions:

  • Tell us about your workflow.
  • Tell us about the projects you produce or want to produce.
  • What areas of your workflow do you find frustrating, inefficient, or tedious?
  • In addition to meeting the goals you’ve revealed by your other answers, what indicators will mark this training as a success for you?

Your answers define the education you receive. Our agile instructors and consultants craft custom education, addressing workflow changes inspired by the information and abilities students are acquiring.

Every minute you and your team are in class is invested time that managers and the individual students must find valuable, for which all involved must see a return on that investment. Our instructors take that notion to heart by customizing every minute of education directly to your goals, your work and workflow, and to the individual concerns and learning styles of each student.

Fun, Engaging, Focused

We make education fun, but we don’t play games with the training. You have a business to run, and we take that very seriously. We deliver education and consulting services that are focused on your bottom line, and we do it in a fun, engaging manner. Students have a good time in our classes, learning in a fun, participative environment that maximizes interest and information retention.

We Do What No Others Can

No other creative software training company can offer the consistent quality of instructor talent that we do.

No other creative software training company can even approach the depth of education customization we do.

No other training company can meet your needs like we can. (Although for some reason those other training companies charge more than we do. We can’t quite figure that one out. If you can, we’d love to hear about it.)

Our Teaching Method Is Better

Bold claim, yes, but it’s true. Our numerous clients attest to it, and many of them were initially “fix-it jobs,” where Workflow Creative staff was brought in after other traditional method training companies failed to meet the clients’ needs.

Why is the WC method better?

Simple: We design training so that students, your staff professionals, learn to solve the problem.

How do we do it?

Our training is designed to best suit the audience–professionals with jobs to do. Professional learners, people who have work to do, need educators with a high level of knowledge and experience in the software and in professional uses of that software, and educators intelligent and agile enough to customize the training on-the-fly to the exact goals and workflow of the students. Our instructors adapt–in the moment, while teaching–to the needs of the students.

We Keep Our Promises

We keep our promises–to our clients and to our instructors. Unlike some of our competitors, we won’t tarnish our sterling reputation by mistreating or making misrepresentations to instructors who work for us. Because we treat our instructors well, we have happy instructors. Happy instructors work harder to make sure every client’s goals are exceeded.

The Best Instructors and Consultants in the Business

Yes, another bold claim–backed up by the fact that the instructors and workflow consultants we employ are nationally or internationally recognized experts in their fields. Our instructors share our philosophy that the best instruction comes from experienced experts with the highest reputations in speaking and writing. The resume of our company founders exemplify this philosophy.

Pariah Burke: Publishing Workflow Expert

Pariah literally wrote the book on digital publishing education, ePublishing with InDesign; he also wrote the accompanying curriculum and instructor materials, which are used all over the world by other trainers and educators. In fact, several of Pariah’s books have become the standard for education in colleges, universities, technical institutes, and even other training companies. All of Pariah’s other software instructional books are written the way he teaches–for real-world professionals with jobs to do. You can find Pariah’s books on his Amazon Author page.

Pariah is a frequent guest lecturer at the software industry’s largest conferences and events.

As a publishing workflow expert with more than 20 years’ experience in graphic design, advertising, and print and electronic periodical publications, Pariah has trained creative, advertising, and marketing teams at some of the world’s most respected brands, including Nike, Adobe, Lockheed Martin, advertising agencies for WalMart and Neiman Marcus, and numerous others. He has written more than 450 articles and tutorials, and co-authored several Adobe Certified Expert exams (the exams Adobe administers to certify instructors as masters of its software).
